Religious Studies
Religious Studies is an academic, objective consideration of the many dimensions of religion as human institution. Evaluated in its historical, cultural, psychological, sociological, philosophical, political, and economic manifestations, religion is a basic aspect of human experience.

The Religious Studies minor draws together courses offered in a number of academic departments and areas to create an organized program of study. It is an enrichment minor and does not lead to teacher licensure without additional education. Students are admitted to the program upon consultation with the program coordinator and the appropriate declaration of a minor.
