Academic, talent, and leadership awards at Bemidji State University provide over $1,000,000 to approximately 600 new and returning students annually. Approximately 25 percent of new entering freshman receive scholarships. Most scholarships are awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and, therefore, are not based on financial need.
