The Department of Security & Safety provides 24-hour campus patrol as well as general campus information, parking information, disabled and non-disabled escort services, crime prevention programs, operation I.D., building access, and emergency services, such as emergency first aid and emergency maintenance reporting. Carefully selected and trained paraprofessional student employees assist in a variety of roles, including emergency services. The department works closely with local law enforcement agencies and also asks citizens for their cooperation and assistance.
