TADT 3897 Ergonomics and Human Factors (3 credits)
Students learn how to apply human-centered design principles to minimize the risk of harm while simultaneously facilitating the use of man-made artifacts. These principles may be applied in the work environment to design or improve work methods and work environments. They may also be used in the design of consumer goods. Includes a course project and lab activities. Two hours lecture and two hours lab per week. Prerequisite(s): Junior status or consent of instructor.
