The Office of Student Affairs is the primary source for information and referral for students, faculty and staff regarding student life. Student life policies and procedures, and student conduct and grievance procedures, are coordinated through this office.
This office provides outreach, admission, and financial aid information; personal counseling; and academic advising.
Career Services offers career information and planning, credential services, job search assistance (including resume and letter writing and preparation for interviews), employer contacts, and other related services.
The Counseling Center provides personal, social, academic, and career counseling. Call in advance to ensure an appointment. Walk-in appointments are on a staff-available basis. Students in crisis or in a serious emergency situation will always be seen.
Student group health insurance information (including international student insurance) is available at the Student Health Service. Enrollment application materials are also available at the Cashier's Office, Deputy 202, and at the Student Affairs Office, Sanford 101.
The Student Health Service provides health care and health education/promotion for all registered students on days classes are in session. Service is provided on a limited schedule in the summer.
For students with a documented disability, this office provides accommodations, including (but not limited to) material on audio cassettes, large print, braille, adapted exams, priority registration, note takers, and scribes.
The Women's Center is affiliated with the academic program of Women's Studies. Together they provide co-curricular programming and a variety of services that focus on the expressed needs and interests of the University women's community.
