Developmental Electives promote student success by improving academic, personal
and social skills. Some of the courses may be applied toward the fulfillment of
graduation requirements. The University maintains a comprehensive listing of all
Developmental Electives in the Office of Admissions and in the Records Office.
Note: Courses numbered 0900 through 0999 are considered Developmental
Elective courses. A maximum of four semester credits satisfactorily completed
are permitted to be included in the total credits for graduation. Courses taken
in excess of the first four semester credits in this category shall appear on
the transcript and be included in the cumulative grade point average (GPA) but
will not count toward total credits required for graduation.
