This office is responsible for the following areas: Academic Technology Center; eLearning Services; Technical Support which includes the student and employee computer help desk and public computer labs; Network, Servers, and Programming; Web Services; and the Center for Extended Learning (see Section VI). Information technology services are continually expanded and improved to enhance the learning experience of all BSU students.
The SuperLab in 161 Deputy Hall is the main computing facility available for student use and includes several models of Gateway™ and Macintosh™ Computers with many software applications installed. Decker Hall and Oak Hall each have a computer lab that is open to all BSU students. In addition, many departments have labs for students taking courses in their departments.
12 Memorial Hall
At BSU, several departments collaborate to support faculty and student use of technology as it relates to teaching and learning. eLearning Support provides instructional design and technology support, particularly for faculty and staff using Desire2Learn (D2L) for their classes, training sites, and other support sites.
151 Deputy Hall
The BSU Computer Store is the place on campus for students and faculty to equip themselves with top-of-the-line computers and accessories. It is an official retailer of Macintosh™ and Gateway™ equipment.
11 Memorial Hall
The Technical Support area includes the Computer Help Desk for BSU students and employees. Support analysts are available Monday through Friday during regular business hours to assist students with email, access to online courses, the campus network, and other computer-related questions. Helpful information is also provided on this office's website.
