Hobson Memorial Forest

Hobson Memorial Forest is a 240 acre forest that is rich with life. The forest was acquired by Bemidji State University in 1948 for the purpose of outdoor recreation, education, and research. The forest contains mixed hard and soft woods, wetlands, wildflowers, Lynn Lake, and many signs of nature, i.e. tracks, scats, and nests. Along with the ropes course, Hobson has an amphitheatar, over 7 km of walking/skiing trails and two rustic log cabins.
