Mehdi Sagheb-Tehrani is an Associate Professor of CIS/MIS at the College of Business, Technology and Communication at Bemidji State University (BSU), USA. Dr. Tehrani teaches System Analysis, Computer Business Application, and Structured Application Development. Before joining BSU, He taught Business Network Systems Management, Virtual Business, Management Information Systems, Expert Systems and Advanced Topics at the graduate level and Technology Management and Systems Analysis, Project Management, Internet Applications, Introduction to Computers, C++, Visual Basic and COBOL programming at the undergraduate level. He received his PhD in Informatics (old name, Information and Computer Science) from Lund University-Sweden, in 1993. He has published over 42 papers in various international journals and proceedings and a book, Management of IT. He has publications in International Journal of Applied Systematic Studies; International Journal of Management in Education, The Journal of Knowledge Engineering, ACM/ Computer and Society, ACM/SIGSOFT, ACM/SIGART, Journal of AICOM, IEEE-IRI, and The IS Education Journal. He was an IT Manager as well as a Consultant in a number of organizations, including IRISL, Cutting Tools Manufacturing, NI Register Organization, IDP Company (formerly IBM), etc.
