Description:

Calling all entrepreneurs! Have a great business idea and want to pursue it? By earning a degree with this emphasis you will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to start you along a lifelong career path where you can be the boss.  Advanced courses in new business ventures, small business case analysis, new venture capital, and more provide creativity, strategy, and skills in developing new businesses, procuring funding, and adding value in order to shape your own future!  If you want to be the decision-maker, then decide on Bemidji State University’s Entrepreneurship / Small Business Management program!

Requirements:

Candidates for the Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship / Small Business Management are required to complete thirty-six semester credits in core course requirements, and twenty-one semester credits in advanced Entrepreneurship / Small Business Management and related disciplines, for a total of fifty-seven semester credits in addition to liberal education requirements.

Recommended High School Classes:

Classes in algebra, accounting, and computers are helpful. Keyboarding and foreign languages are also recommended. Any class work that would strengthen communication skills will be advantageous, especially speech and writing.
