Professor Dave Smith Wins Marketing Award

Marketing Professor David Smith (right), Department of Business Administration at Bemidji State University, is the recipient of the Hormel Meritorious Teaching Award.

He received his award after being named a national finalist for the Hormel Teaching Excellence award at the nation's annual Marketing Management Association Conference.

Professor David Smith continues to dedicate himself to serving students, clients, Business Administration, Bemidji State University, and the community. He has a very successful and impressive record of service in marketing education.

To the great benefit of students, Professor Smith has achieved an incredibly high level of performance inside and out of the classroom in the marketing field. Marketing Research, and the Marketing Assistance and Research Solutions (MARS) venture - are just two examples; and both designed, developed, and implemented by Professor Smith, yet operated by students!
