More About the Business Program
Bemidji State University is one of the Midwest’s premier Business Administration programs. Whether you choose to study in the areas of Management, Inernational Business, Entrepreneurship / Small Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Computer Information Systems, Marketing Communications, or Accounting, you will be in one of the nation’s most student-centered programs with class sizes that are usually at least 50% smaller than at other universities.
In addition to learning in the smallest classes of
any business department in Minnesota, you also get
to work on projects requested from local business
and industries through upper-level business courses,
our Small Business Institute and /or our off-campus
Center for Research and Innovation. What this
means is that you’ll get to work on real projects
with real professionals under the guidance of renowned
faculty who you actually know.
Bemidji State University’s business programs offer one of the best places to develop your International Business skills and knowledge by participating in very
successful study abroad programs in China, Japan, South Africa,
Malaysia, Thailand, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, and England (Oxford). These opportunities make Bemidji State University the most international
campus in the entire state university system in Minnesota!
Outside the business classroom, Bemidji State is also a great
university. With the country's most active Outdoor Program Center,
highly successful programs in NCAA Division I Hockey & NCAA Division II
athletics, over 100 student clubs and organizations, and world class
arts, theater, music, and culture, Bemidji State University blends the
best of the big and small like no other university around.
