Business Alum Scores Highest in Nation!

Bemidji State University Business Administration alum John Thompson is recognized for having the HIGHEST SCORE in the NATION by the American Institute for Chartered Property-Casual Underwriters (AICPCU).

John Thompson is the assistant controller in corporate for Federated Insurance, Owatonna, Minnesota.  Federated annual sales are estimated at $1 Billion, and employs about 2,600.

Mr. Thompson received the Distinguished Graduate Award for academic excellence resulting from his top cumulative grade point average on his exams, as part of his continued education and certification, as an insurance professional.  It comes with a cash award and plaque, as well.
