Enrollment Up Again for 2011-12

Business administration programs at Bemidji State University continue to experience significant growth for 2011-2012. It started with increased numbers from summer, and momentum carried into fall semester.

BSU has fostered this growth as new programs in business related fields were implemented and six new full-time doctoral faculty members have been successfully recruited, two each for the past three consecutive years.

BSU business related programs include finance, management, marketing, business administration, international business, management information systems, entrepreneurship, small business management, marketing communications, computer information systems , accounting, computer forensics and accounting forensics.

Bemidji State University has received specialized accreditation for its business and business- related programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Olathe, Kansas. The business and business- related programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting;

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphases in Finance, Generalist, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship/Small Business Management, and International Business.
