Human Resource Club Student Execs Selected for Conference

Two BSU Human Resource Management (HRM) Student Club Officers were invited to attend the Minnesota State Council SHRM Council Leadership Conference, sponsored by the MN State SHRM Council:

Dillon Loren and Dane Pflika attended the Minnesota State SHRM Council Leadership Conference in St. Cloud, Minnesota on January 20th and 21st, 2013, with club advisor, Professor Valerie Wallingford.

Also, due to campus club’s vibrant activity, Dr. Wallingford and the student execs from BSU were not only invited, but were financially supported by the council for the conference.

The Department of Business Administration’s Human Resource Management (HRM) Student Club earned the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Student Chapter Affiliation (www.shrm.org).

SHRM is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM has more than 575 affiliated chapters within the United States and subsidiary offices in China and India.
