Scholarships

The Welle Scholarship has been presented annually since 1976. It goes to the outstanding junior in Economics, as determined by the economics department faculty. The scholarship is funded thru a gift to the university by the N.A.Welle family, and currently is worth approximately $1,200 per year.

The Economics Department also is one of several programs that award the MDU Resources Scholarship, most recently for the 2009-2010 year.
