Westlie graduated with a degree in Professional and Creative Writing in 2006. Since then, he has gone on to a MFA in Creative Writing. He had four poems published in early 2010 in Time You Let Me In: 25 Poets under 25. Old English Reading Group

Hail, travelers from far and wide! We have the pleasure of continuing a past project, the Old English Reading Group. Join us every Thursday at 4 at the 209 Bar in downtown Bemidji for a taste of Old English and some good brew.

NB: Unfortunately, mead halls (bars) no longer sell beer in animal horns and also frown upon bringing swords into their establishment. It's a shame, we know, but please leave all swords at home. Viking helmets may or may not be allowed; enter with horns at own risk.
