Comma Splice

A comma splice is the joining of two complete sentences with a comma, I have just made a comma splice. That one was an obvious mistake, now I will make another. The two commas I have just used should not be there. A period would suffice; each side of the comma was a compete sentence. There I did it with a semi-colon, which requires you have a complete sentence before and after the mark. Use a comma only if you can't separate the two parts into their own sentences, like this little bit here.
