The geography department's curriculum is in the process of a University Curriculum Review. Revisions to several courses and most undergraduate degree programs were made to address the degree programs' content as well as some independent course content. Part of the these revisions include the addition of graduate courses in Geography. While the department does not offer advanced degrees, we do offer the opportunity for those in advanced degree programs to earn graduate credit for many of our courses.
As we are still in transition with these revisions, you will see graduate courses during the registration process but not in the course catalog. Until the revisions are finalized by the University Curriculum Committee, our course offerings are using transitional numbers which we are pleased to announce include Graduate Level course numbers.
We recognize this can cause a bit of confusion during the registration process as catalog numbers and descriptions are not an exact match during registration. Please contact any of our faculty with questions, we are happy to assist.
