BSU's FM 90 radio station plays top-40 hits and is one of the most popular radio stations in the Bemidji area. Students act as live DJs during their own on-air shifts. There are also opportunities for students to create their own shows and select their own music.
Roger Paskvan is FM 90's advisor.
KBSU is a student-run cable television station that can be viewed on channel 17. Its studio is located on campus. Students work together to broadcast live sporting, educational and other campus events. Some students produce their own news or entertainment programs. There are plenty of opportunities to work behind the camera, in the studio, or as on-air talent.
Roger Paskvan is KBSU-TV's advisor.
