The
purpose of the math club is to stimulate student interest in the various
phases for mathematics and computer science, and to promote fellowship
among the members. Activities include curling, bowling, calculus cake, hex,
sledding, catapult construction, math jeopardy, and many others.
The
BSU Math and Physics Clubs celebrated Leonhard Euler’s 300th Birthday
on April 17, 2007. The celebration included food, cake, trivia, a blind
chalkboard-writing exercise, Euler Bingo, a presentation on Euler’s life,
and an Euler impersonator.
Be
sure to join us next year when we celebrate the birthday of another important
physicist/mathematician!
