Goals
The Bemidji State University “Mathematics in Action: The Interplay of Mathematics, Science and Technology” camp is designed to give students a comprehensive introduction to the types of quantitative, interdisciplinary, critical thinking and communication demands placed upon college students. We desire to help students see the connections between science or technology and quantitative thinking, to improve their attitude and motivation to pursue scientific and technical careers, and to help them develop intellectual stamina and the ability to communicate their findings and ideas.
