The BSU Percussion Ensemble is a performing chamber ensemble consisting of six or more percussionists and is under the direction of the music department’s adjunct percussion instructor, Mr. Eric Sundeen.
Though participation is encouraged and open to any student percussionist with previous scholastic or performance experience, an informal interview/audition is requested from the instructor. The ensemble enjoys and takes pride in the preparation and performance of music from the traditional, twentieth century and theatrical libraries of percussion literature. Yearly public performances include two on-campus concerts and annual off-campus concert tours. One hour of college credit per semester may be earned by the ensemble participants by registration.
