Linda Wagner is an instructor of Voice at Bemidji State University.  She completed a B.S. with Distinction in Music Education at the University of Minnesota where she studied with Paul Knowles .  She continued study at Bemidji State University with Fulton Gallagher and Linda Spicher where she completed an M.S. in Education.

 
She began teaching Voice at Bemidji State while a graduate student and has continued since then as an adjunct faculty member along with a career in teaching elementary classroom music and directing her church choir since 1987.
 
Her performing credits include soprano solo appearances in Oratorios, including Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Exultate Jubilate, Requiem and Mass in C, Brahms' Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Creation, and Verdi's Requiem.
 
Her operatic credits include major roles in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro and Bastien und Bastienna, Verdi's La Traviata, Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, Mennotti's The Medium and The Telephone, and Gilbert and Sullivan's Trial By Jury.  Musical comedy credits include major roles in Bye Bye Birdie, Oliver, Fiddler on the Roof, She Loves Me, and Anything Goes.
 
Mrs. Wagner has performed numerous solo recitals in Bemidji, Duluth, and Rochester MN, and with faculty chamber ensembles at Bemidji State University and Opera Night in Bemidji.  She has also sung with the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, the Rochester Symphony Orchestra (Minnesota), the Berlin Symphony Orchestra (Germany), and the Bangkok Opera Society (Thailand). 
 
Mrs. Wagner has also been a winner of the District Metropolitan Opera Auditions in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin and the Ms Senior America Pageant.
