RN-to-BS Program Information for Enrolled Students

Course Scheduling in the Department

Classes in the RN-BS nursing major are scheduled in block times during each semester.  Currently the schedule is:

Wednesdays - Bemidji Students

Thursdays - Lake Superior College-Duluth students

Fridays - Anoka-Ramsey Community College-Cambridge Campus students

Courses are conducted in an on-campus/online format with approximately 4 days per semester being on-campus days (at the site you are registered for).  The first two weeks of fall and spring semesters are on campus.  On-campus days are listed in the notes of each course which can be found on the BSU website http://bemidjistate.edu/academics/schedule

Practicum Courses

It is important to note that enrollment in practicum courses will require time other than the scheduled class day. For the convenience of students, practicums are arranged in local areas.

Part-time Enrollment

Part-time enrollment is possible, but requires careful planning with your faculty advisor.
