Ms. Atteberry has a baccalaureate degree from the University of Iowa and a Masters in Nursing from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Nurse Education.  She currently is working on her PhD.  She enjoys maternal child nursing and has practiced in this area for several years. She has held a position in a level II neonatal intensive care unit for several years along with being a member of the neonatal transport team.   She also worked in the pediatric and pediatric intensive care unit during this time.

Nurse education has been an area of interest for Jen before she even graduated from nursing school.  During the time working in the neonatal intensive care unit, she began to be an adjunct instructor for a community college in Iowa in pediatrics.  She eventually became a full time instructor for first semester students and maternal-child, critical care, neuro/oncology, and home health settings.  She has experience in theory, lab, and clinical settings.  She was the facilitator for the internship program for the RN students during this time.  In her spare time, she enjoys mission opportunities and has traveled throughout the United States aiding people affected in natural disasters.
