Bemidji State University requires passing scores on all parts of the PPST (Pre-Professional Skills Test or Praxis I) to be eligible for student teaching placement for students who began the Profesional Education program after June 2008.
The computer based test can be taken as individual tests or a combined test and are available throughout the year. The individual tests in reading, mathematics and writing are each scheduled for a two-hour block of time and can be taken on separate days. The combined test is delivered as a single testing session.
