As the department chair of Psychology, I'm pleased with your interest and want to encourage you to take a close look at all Psychology has to offer. Within our department you'll find:

• a broad curriculum that spans clinical and experimental psychology,
• dedicated faculty who are engaged with students, and
• rich opportunities for research, internships and clinical practice (see links at left).

Our graduates enjoy a high acceptance rate into graduate programs, as well as high-placement rates after graduation. And although not everyone becomes a "psychologist", I am proud of the impact our alumni have had on society. With a firm understanding of the cognitive, emotional, physiological, and cultural processes that impact behavior, they have found many ways to enhance their communities, schools, workplaces and families.
