Field Practicum

    9.1 Utilize structured, monitored, experiential learning to explore the application of social work values, knowledge, and skills.

    9.2 Utilize structured, supervised, and evaluated practice application of social work values, theories, knowledge, and skills.

    9.3 Understand social work practice in relationship to social welfare policy, social service agency operations, service delivery as related to the needs of service users.

    9.4 Explore and apply values, knowledge, and skills in engagement, assessment, planning, goal setting, contracting, intervention strategies, evaluation, and closure.

    9.5 Utilize the ecosystems approach to critically assess the dynamics of oppression and the consequences to service users in order to strengthen commitment to alleviate injustice in generalist social work practice.
