Human Behavior in the Social Environment

    5.1 Understand human development through the life span and its relationship to and interaction with the social environment.

    5.2 Understand and apply a framework for the assessment of human behavior including the following dimensions:  biological, psychological, emotional, sociological, cultural, spiritual, and aesthetic for all size social systems – individual, groups, families, organizations and communities.      

    5.3 Understand human behavior from a systems perspective recognizing the relationship with and among a variety of client systems including:  individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities.

    5.4 Understand and appreciate human diversity and the inter-dynamics of the personal worldview as it is reflected in practice.

    5.5 Understand modern day oppression and injustice associated with diversity.

    5.6 Understand the significance of research in assessing and advancing knowledge of human behavior in the social environment.
