Cohort Graduate Program
M.S. Industrial Technology
Emphasis in Career & Technical Education or Technology Education
Department of Industrial Technology
Bemidji State University
Program Overview
The Department of Industrial Technology at Bemidji State University has proposed a Cohort for a Master of Science degree in Industrial Technology with an Emphasis in either Career & Technical Education or Technology Education. It is targeted to teachers who wish to enhance their academic credentials as leaders in Career & Technical Education and Technology Education, and have the opportunity to network with educators with similar interests and educational goals. Specific graduation date will depend upon completion of new courses, and the possible use of previous graduate credits already completed.
Courses will be primarily delivered via the web, making access and scheduling of courses and coursework completion attractive to working professionals. Participants may elect to augment web courses with on-site classes, depending on the types of classes desired or to accelerate the speed of completing the program.
Graduate level course that individuals have taken or would wish to take for other purposes such as Teacher Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Licensure and the Teacher Education Series (TES) courses may be applied for degree requirements as electives. Individuals may also have the opportunity to customize elective coursework for professional development relating to program certification and accredi tation. Students may transfer up to ten graduate credits from other institutions, and use those courses as electives or substitutions. Students should work closely with a graduate faculty advisor to create a specific degree plan. Students should review graduate program degree requirements in the BSU Graduate Catalog (available on the BSU web page at www.bemidjistate.edu).
Tuition Rates
Resident tuition rates for web-based courses, including fees is approximately $275.00 per credit. Tuition and fees are subject to change.
