Admission to the University

Before you can register for classes at Bemidji State University, you will need to complete an admission process. Access the Center for Extended Learning Admission web page and determine if you will just be taking the Teaching and Learning courses, or applying them to either a baccalaureate degree or a graduate degree. Based on your choice, you will complete either a Special Student Admission Form (courses only), Undergraduate Admission Form (for a baccalaureate degree), or Graduate Admission Form(for a master’s degree). If you have any questions about what admissions process to complete, please contact Dr. Jim McCracken (jmccracken@bemidjistate.edu, 218-755-2954), or the Center for Extended Learning at either 218-755-2068 or 1-800-852-7422.

There is a $20 fee to file any of these forms with the university. Once the form has been processed, a student ID number will be mailed to you. The student ID number will permit you to register for classes.
