Womens Studies History Month

In 2009, the national Women's History Project honors women who have taken the lead in the environmental or "green" movement.  We are featuring Rachel Carson, the founder of the contemporary environmental movement, the icon model of the theme.   The 2009 Honorees are scientists, engineers, community organizers, religious or workplace leades and other whose lives show exceptional vision and leadership to honor our planet.
