A Career in Cancer Research

Marcus Kelly, a BSU Biology Baccalaureate Partnership student, has been chosen for an MCC CURE Cancer Internship, an amazing multi-year long opportunity focused on training students for a career in cancer research.

Marcus is one of just five undergraduate students chosen to participate in this program for at least two years and beyond.  He’ll participate in hands-on training in cancer research, educational seminars, and career and professional skills development at the University of Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center.  He’ll be participating in these activities throughout the year, while continuing to take NHCC and BSU courses, as he progresses toward his B.S. Biology degree.

We’re really proud of Marcus and excited about his future!
