Master of Business Administration

Bemidji State University offers an online MBA program to serve students throughout northern Minnesota and beyond. Designed to be completed in two years, the program consists of 36 semester credits, with a choice of specialization in management, marketing or finance. The program is suitable for working professionals as well as those with recently completed bachelor’s degrees.

Master of Science in Special Education

The Department of Professional Education at Bemidji State University offers an MS in Special Education, along with several licensure programs that will allow teachers to teach special education in Minnesota. This program provides graduate students with a broad base of knowledge about learners with special needs and programming strategies for those learners.

Secondary Teacher Licensure

The FasTrack PostBac Secondary Initiative is designed for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in a non-education related field who are interested in becoming secondary school teachers. FasTrack is a two-year, online program that includes three face-to-face meetings per year in the Minneapolis area.

Certificate in Online Teaching

This certificate for online teaching provides a sound foundation in distance learning history, instructional design and hands-on development of online courses necessary to prepare effective online teachers.

Camp Nurse Certificate

This certificate will expand undergraduate nursing courses for required elective credits and adds a certificate program for a niche market of nursing professionals in the expanding market of camps. The certificate was developed and has been endorsed by the Association of Camp Nurses (ACN) and the American Camp Association (ACA).
