The elective courses in Mathematics are designed to provide advanced studies in math for in-service elementary, middle, and secondary school teachers. It is an intense summer face-to-face program designed to provide in-service teachers broad content graduate courses with concurrent pedagogy that addresses the No Child Left Behind legislation requirements.
The Mathematics elective courses offered by the BSU Mathematics Department, combined with the Professional Education core and research courses, completes the Master of Science in Education or the Master of Education degree.
