Choose the online program that best fits your needs as you prepare for licensure in either specific learning disabilities or emotional behavioral disorders.   Focus on theory to practice in practicum settings.  Develop and modify curriculum for students with special needs.  And develop an understanding of relevant literature and research within the field. 

Master of Science in Special Education (35 credits)

In addition to your core courses, choose from one of two options to complete the degree:

Option One:  Thesis (9 credits)

ED 6160 Educational Statistics (2 credits)
ED 6680 Single Subject Research in Special Education (3 credits)
ED 6990 Thesis (4 credits)

Option Two:  Research paper (8 credits)

ED 6610 Current Issues in Special Education (3 credits)
ED 6680 Single Subject Research in Special Education (3 credits)
ED 6980 Directed Research in Special Education (2 credits)

Qualifications:
