Course Work Only

If you are admitted as an on campus student and wish to register for an online or guided/self directed course for Fall and Spring semesters, you will need to secure permission from your advisor, the course instructor, the department chair and the college dean.  Please print off this Course Work Only form complete the requested information, and secure the signatures.  The Center for Extended Learning staff will register you for the course when we receive the signed form.  NOTE:  Advisor, instructor, chair and dean signatures are NOT needed for summer courses.

Please note: 

  • Some courses will open to all students for registration on April 22.  To learn which courses you to complete at CWO form for, please see the online course schedule.  If you need a CWO form for a course, you will see this message:  Course Work Only form is required for on campus students to register for this course.
  • Online courses without this message will open to on campus students for registration on April 22.
  • Freshman, sophomores, and juniors will not be given permission to register for online BUAD courses.
  • NO signatures are required for SUMMER online or guided/self directed courses beyond the student's signature.
