No matter what course of study students pursue, the resources and services of the A.C. Clark Library play an important role in their education. The newly renovated library houses nearly a quarter of a million books, more than 900 periodical subscriptions, and collections of government publications, audio visual materials, maps, and microforms. In addition, the library provides access to off-campus holdings through an extensive interlibrary loan network. This wide knowledge base helps support the University's academic programs. You can call the reference desk directly, toll free, at 1-800-860-0234 or visit the library online at BSU Library.
The BSU Library delivers study-related materials to distance learners (students who are currently registered for BSU courses and current BSU faculty) who reside 30 or more miles from campus or need delivery because of permanent or temporary disability. Complete information, and the application form for this special service, are available at Service for Distance Learners on the BSU Library's home page.

Tests that must be monitored may be taken in the Center for Extended Learning by setting up an appointment or they may be taken through a test administrator approved by the Center for Extended Learning. If your tests need to be monitored, you are responsible for locating a test administrator in your area. Many of the Minnesota State Colleges or Universities provide testing services. Click here for contact information at a campus near you. You may also choose public school administrators or counselors, community college instructors or counselors, or librarians (basically someone with a private office). Public school teachers are generally not approved as test administrators. Friends and relatives may not be used. Please provide us with the test administrator's work address--we will not mail tests to home addresses.
Support for online courses is provided through Information Technology Services Student Support help desk. This service is available to provide assistance Monday through Fridays, from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm. For more information, visit the Student Support website and the ITS Help Desk website.
