A three-year online program


Earn your teacher licensure for K-8 certification while completing nearly all of your coursework online.  The Distributed Learning in Teacher Education program (DLiTE) combines online learning and periodic classroom instruction for convenience and professional collaboration.  Online courses are enriched by three face-to-face group sessions with colleagues each year in the Minneapolis area.

Earn certification. The online program meets all the Minnesota Board of Teaching requirements. 

Eligibility: Students must have an associate of arts degree, bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree and a 2.5 GPA to be eligible for admission.   

Credits required for a bachelor’s degree:  120 credits, which includes completion of liberal education requirements

Credits required for major:  63 semester credits.

Delivery options:  online courses, plus three face-to-face sessions each year
