Students have the option to apply online or in hard copy.  See below for more information.  

If you are an International student, you must complete the International studies application form, located at the International Program Center website.

Students applying for financial aid must provide an official transcript to the School of Graduate Studies from the institution granting their bachelor's degree (excluding those who have completed their undergraduate degree within the Minnesota State College and University system.)

Students seeking a Special Education license, but do NOT have a MN standard teaching license or who may be teaching under a limited license renewed yearly by the Department of Education MUST first take the Standards of Effective Practice (SEP) courses offered either through FasTrack or BSU on-campus.  Before applying to FasTrack or as a Graduate Special Student, please review guidelines.

Form 1-Application for Admission to Graduate Studies

Master of Science (MS), Master of Arts (MA), and Applied Masters: Students applying for the purpose of pursuing course work that will potentially result in the awarding of a Master's degree.

Graduate Special Student

Students pursuing graduate course work without a planned objective, but with the goal of personal and/or professional enrichment (i.e. licensure).

This application permits students to take courses for an indefinite period of time, provided that a 3.00 ("B") grade point average is maintained.

FasTrack Secondary Initiative - MN Dept of ED

This program provides an alternative pathway to licensure by meeting the Minnesota Board of Teaching Standards of Effective Practice requirements via online coursework and portfolio.
