  • Tracks the academic standing of Graduate student
  • Meets with students who are struggling with their academics
  • Acts as liaison between the students and staff, both faculty and supervisors of Graduate Assistants
  • Works with student complaints (Students should meet with the Chair of the department before approaching the Dean with complaints against staff or the department itself)
  • Promotes graduate education on campus
  • Works to provide new services and opportunities for Graduate students
  • Works to develop new Graduate programs
  • Serves on the assistant Dean Council for MnSCU in order to make things better for Graduate students
  • Review research projects that contain human subjects
  • Works with the Graduate Student Association
  • Acts as a member of certain oral defense committees as needed
  • Signs off on all theses and program changes
  • Helps develop new policies for Graduate students through the Graduate Committee
  • Approves all new Graduate faculty

  • Works to answer your questions on APA and MLA formatting
