all the students who submitted; your creativity and talent were evident in all submissions. Submitters will receive feedback sometime in the next few weeks saying whether or not their piece(s) will be published in the 17th edition of Rivers Meeting.

Come and enjoy the unveiling of our 17th edition! Writers will read their published works, a dedication of a local artist will occur, and there will be food and music!

What is Rivers?

Rivers Meeting is an annual literary publication produced by BFA students in the Department of English and Visual Arts at Bemidji State University. Its primary goal is to capture and share the quality and creativity of BSU students. It is now registered with the Library of Congress and sent to Libraries all over the United States. The publication is advised by English professor and poet Dr. CarolAnn Russell Schlemper and is a student-run organization.
