Rivers - The Rivers Meeting Project
1. Create
At the Rivers Meeting Project, we're looking for outstanding original work, whether it is fiction, poetry, photography, paint, pencil, pen, or another easily printable fine art. However we do have the following guidelines:
- Submissions accepted from Bemidji State University students only.
- Bio statement up to 25 words is required.
- Guidelines for Writing
- 12-14 point font, Times New Roman
- Double-spaced black ink on white paper
- Clean, original work only
- Poets: Submit a maximum of 5 poems, up to a single page in size.
- Essayists, Fiction & Non-Fiction Writers: Submit 1000 words or less.
- Guidelines for Art
- Submissions may be in color but must be easily scanned as black & white in case color printing is not possible.
- Digital entries must be formatted to fit 6.5" x 9" paper.
- Artists may include a statement of around 75 words with each submission.
2. Fill Out An Application
Everyone:
- Titles of work only--no names on the piece itself!
- Fill out this form with your name, titles, and genres of submissions. Paperclip this form to your submissions--no staples!
- Digital entries: please make sure to include the information from the forms in your email. Attach your submission as a separate file.
- LATE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

3. Submit
You may submit at:
- Hagg-Sauer Reception (3rd Floor)

- EA Art Association room (across from ceramics room)
- Rivers Meeting office space in the H20 room
