AGREEMENT
Between the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)
and Bemidji State University (BSU) on collaboration on electronic
publishing.
1. Object
Through this collaboration the institutions wish to contribute to
the publishing of papers presented at the Inter University
Centre (IUC), Dubrovnic, School of Social Work Theory and
Practice. The publication will be offered free of charge,
and based on modern and efficient technical solutions for
web publishing. The electronic journal project will [also]
bring important experience about alternative publishing methods
to the institutions.
2. Journal title/Publishing frequency
The journal will be titled: The BSU/NTNU/IUC Journal of Social Work Theory
and Practice. Two issues will be published a year, spring
and fall. (with reservations on sufficient materials).
3. Editorial responsibility
The journal will have an editorial board with representatives
from BSU, NTNU, and other IUC member universities mainly.
BSU and NTNU will be responsible for the publishing of the
fall and spring issues respectively. The two universities
will establish local editorial groups, with the following
major responsibilities; Set deadlines and collect papers.
Ensure the professional and language quality.
4. Technical arrangements
BSU and NTNU are obligated to use technical solutions which will
ensure a uniform web presentation of the journal issues.
5. Economy
BSU and NTNU will each cover all the expenses attached to the
publishing of one journal issue a year.
6. Expire of contract
This agreement has a 5 (five) year duration. After 4 (four) years
and extension will be discussed. Each party may terminate
this agreement with a 6 (six) months notice.

Copyright for the I.U.C. Journal of Social Work Theory and
Practice is owned by the Social Work Program, Department of
Social Relations and Services, Bemidji State University, Bemidji,
Minnesota, USA. One copy may be made (printed) for personal
use; teachers may make multiple copies for student use if
the copies are made available to students without charge.
Permission must be secured from the editors for sale of any
copies of articles or for any commercial use of the material
published in the Journal.
