An algebra course designed for students with an insufficient algebraic background for MATH 1100 or MATH 1110. This course must be taken for a letter grade and, to use this course as a prerequisite for MATH 1100 or MATH 1110, a grade of C or better must be achieved. Credits are not applicable towards graduation. Topics include integer operations, solving linear equations and inequalities, factoring, operations on polynomials, rational and radical expressions.
