Summer Session

Summer Sessions Housing & Dining

The Department of Residential Life and BSU Dining Services invite summer term students and their families to consider living and dining on campus. We are sure you will find a quality experience that is priced for value. Summer students staying three or more weeks are housed in the residence halls. Students staying less than three weeks typically stay in Pine Hall, the University Conference Center. Residence hall accommodations offer single or double rooms that are comfortable, clean, and conveniently adjacent to academic and recreational facilities.

The spouses and family members of summer term students are also heartily welcome to stay at Bemidji State University. While here, family members are encouraged to enjoy a relaxing few weeks away from the responsibilities of home. Area attractions include Diamond Point Park (directly across from campus), Lake Bemidji State Park, numerous beaches and lakes for swimming and boating, a night at the Paul Bunyan Playhouse, BSU?s Recreation and Fitness Center, BSU's Outdoor Program Center, and shopping in the many area retail stores. Families typically stay in two-room suites in Tamarack Hall.

Residence halls provide students and their families direct Internet access, reception desk service, study rooms, social lounges, vending machines, and a laundry. Also, staff members help visitors get oriented to BSU and the Bemidji community, and develop positive living communities. Residence hall living offers students opportunities for social and academic interactions. To obtain a summer term residence hall application and contract, along with rates, please contact the Department of Residential Life.
