Summer Session International Students

Bemidji State University is an accredited university located in north central Minnesota, USA. Part of the Minnesota State College and Universities system, Bemidji State is large enough to offer more than 50 majors and 16 pre-professional programs for undergraduates.

But with an enrollment of 4,900 students, the University is small enough to give each student the personal attention they need to find success. Bemidji State University is located on the shoreline of Lake Bemidji at the headwaters of the Mississippi River.

More than 30,000 people live in the Bemidji and surrounding region.

• Articulated 3 + 1 Programs in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems and Psychology are currently in place with some institutions and allow you to take three years of study at your school and finish a bachelor's degree in one year at Bemidji State University.

Opportunities for International Student

Applications from international students are accepted for initial enrollment fall semester, beginning in September, or for spring semester,beginning in January. Bemidji State University provides a welcoming environment for students. Community members serve as 'family friends' to international students to help in their transition to the Bemidji Community and to Bemidji State University and to make them feel welcome. The International Student Organization is a student club that meets to schedule social and cultural activities. The International Program Center offers international students a comprehensive orientation program and serves as a resource for items related to enrollment and immigration.

Bemidji State University is located in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world. There are hundreds of fresh water lakes, several river systems, and a variety of state or national parks and forests - all within short distances from the city.
