Summer Session Tuition & Fees

The 2009 costs are as follows. In addition, students are required to pay student fees.

Tuition (per credit)

• Undergraduate:

  $213.75

• Graduate:

  $303.85

• Tuition rates are for MN students, ND and SD students who have applied for reciprocity, and any student that lives in a state or country that does not have a reciprocal agreement with Minnesota. Students from ND, SD and WI and who have NOT applied for reciprocity will be charged at a non-resident rate which is approximately twice the resident rate.

Note
Tuition for online courses is an additional $20 per credit.

Reminder:  To prevent registration cancellation for non-payment, tuition and fees must be paid in full by June 2, 2009.  However, you will not be dropped for non-payment if any one of the following criteria is met:

1. If the Financial Aid office has received your FAFSA.
2. You have made a minimum down payment to your tuition and fees if 15% or $300, which ever is less, and you have an active payment plan contract.
3. You have a scholarship, waiver, or third party award on file that meets the minimum down payment rule.

Required Fees (fees subject to change without notice)

• Student Activity Fee:

  1 credit = $87.70
  2 credits = $129.40
  3 credits = $171.10

• MSUSA:

  $.43 per semester credit

• Technology Fee:

  $9.00 per credit to a maximum of 8 semester credits

• Transcript Fee:

  $1.00

• Green Fee: $5.00

• Other:

 

Some courses require additional fees for lab and/or supplies. These are itemized on the fee statement.

• CEL Program Fee:

  $20.00 per semester credit

• Online Tuition:

Additional $20 per credit
