Academic Advising & Registration

There are a number of important steps in registering for your first semester at BSU. To assist incoming freshmen, BSU has established the Academic Advising and Registration program (AAR). With the help of academic advisors, you will receive:

• Academic assessment and class placement recommendations
• Individual appointments with your academic advisor
• Identification of BSU academic expectations
• Registration for fall classes

You will receive an invitation for AAR by mail. Space is limited, so make sure to either return the card promptly. If you have further questions, please contact Records & Advising Services.
